Sofia was a vibrant, neurotypical 5-year-old who loved playing, learning, laughing, and simply being a little girl. In August 2025, after accidentally ingesting dairy to which she is highly allergic, she suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction that led to cardiac arrest and a severe anoxic brain injury. In an instant, our world changed forever. Sofia went from a healthy, active child to a child living with significant disabilities and complex medical needs overnight.
Despite everything she has endured, Sofia continues to show incredible strength, resilience, and determination. We are fighting every day to give her access to life-changing treatments, therapies, rehabilitation, and medical care that can support her recovery journey. We believe through faith, hope and love that significant recovery is possible.
