They transformed my artwork into this beautiful design that will serve as the logo for this campaign, and I truly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I hope you all love it as much as I do!
One of my biggest goals with this campaign is to raise awareness that endometriosis is a systemic inflammatory disease. For far too long, endo has been misunderstood as a gynecological condition or “just a bad period.” The reality is that it is a whole-body disease that can affect every aspect of a person’s life.
Endometriosis is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. It can affect nearly every system in the body, and often times does. Endometriosis is most commonly found on the ovaries, uterus, pelvis, bladder, bowel, rectum, appendix, diaphragm, and peritoneum, but it has also been found in distant areas of the body, including the lungs and other organs. It can be found all throughout the body. It tends to spread and glue your organs together. Common symptoms include severe pelvic pain, painful periods, painful ovulation, heavy bleeding, bloating, nausea, fatigue, bowel and bladder symptoms, painful intercourse, infertility, lower back, leg pain, immune system dysfunction, & nerve damage. Symptoms and disease severity do not always correlate, meaning even those with minimal disease can experience debilitating pain.
I am living with stage IV endometriosis, which is also known as DIE (Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis, the most progressed stage of the disease. I have undergone two surgeries in the last two years, yet I continue to battle significant symptoms daily. The disease has been found on both my ovaries, bladder, urethra, bowel, rectovaginal septum, pelvis sidewalls, appendix, and throughout my pelvis. Along with extensive adhesions, chronic inflammation, adenomyosis, and a retroverted uterus. Endometriosis has impacted every single aspect of my life, causing chronic pelvic pain, reoccurring ovarian cysts that rupture, extremely painful periods & ovulation, severe nausea & vomiting, fatigue, flu-like symptoms, bowel dysfunction, digestive issues, painful intercourse, secondary infertility, and times where I have been largely bedbound and unable to drive or care for myself independently. This disease has been incredibly debilitating. It has affected my nervous system to the point of me not being able to function due to all the stress my mind and body has been under.
Through sharing my story, I pray others battling chronic illness and endometriosis will know they are not alone. You are not crazy! Your pain & suffering is real and you deserve proper care and treatment. ![]()
The dismissal and mistreatment that so many patients experience within the healthcare system, especially those living with endo, is absolutely heartbreaking. That is why all funds raised through this campaign will support Endo Excision For All, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women access life-changing care from endometriosis specialists!
Here is their website! ![]()

About Our Patient-Led Endometriosis Foundation | Our Mission Fighting for Better Endometriosis Care — Advocacy for Endometriosis Excision Surgery
Unfortunately, many specialists do not take insurance, and the cost of excision surgery can range from $20,000 - $50,000 or more. For so many, proper treatment is simply out of reach. They deserve better.
My hope is that this campaign can help even one woman receive the education, support, correct surgery & treatment that I wish I had access to years ago.
Having a chronic & invisible illness, such as endo, has drastically changed my quality of life. I have experienced firsthand how this disease progresses until your mind & body reach a breaking point. It truly hurts my heart that there are so many other women suffering, I want to do all I can to support them on their journeys.
Advocating for this community is the reason I created this page. If I can help someone battling this feel seen, understood, or less alone, then every vulnerable moment has been worth it.
Thank you all for your endless support, love, and kindness. Sending all my love to each of you. God bless! ![]()
