The design includes key parts of her journey • PowerPort • Blood Transfusions • Neutrophils (neutropenic fevers) • Lemon Candy (chemo side effects) • Bone Marrow (where leukemia starts) • Yellow Butterflies (in honor of pediatric patients fighting also) • and Leukemia Puns created with friends in treatment.
Emily was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL in 2023 during her pregnancy. In between rounds of chemo, she delivered a healthy baby boy and started advocating on social media for other young women fighting cancer.
2 years later she continues to raise awareness and funds for resources on social media and by running, still in treatment.”
