Help Support Bentley’s Type 1 Diabetes Journey!

Our 8-year-old son, Bentley, is doing a fundraiser through Spread Good Shop to help raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) while also raising funds for some items that we believe could make managing his diabetes a little easier and more comfortable.

Living with T1D means there are so many things Bentley has to think about every single day — blood sugar checks, insulin, devices, site changes, treating lows, and everything that comes along with managing a condition that never takes a day off.

We are hoping to use the funds raised to purchase a few helpful items for Bentley:

Glow Glucose Gummies — to help treat his low blood sugars.

Dexcom & Omnipod Overlay Patches from Type One Style — to help protect his devices and keep them securely in place.

Site Hero — to help care for and heal his skin after removing his Omnipod and Dexcom. We have started noticing some scarring and irritation where the devices and insertion sites have been.

SPI Belt – Kids Size — to give Bentley a convenient way to carry his Omnipod controller and phone with him.

Sugar Halo Device — to help us monitor his blood sugar without having to constantly check his phone throughout the day and night.

Every purchase, share, and bit of support helps us not only work toward these goals, but also spread awareness about Type 1 Diabetes and what life with T1D looks like for an 8-year-old.
